Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, we're starting off with some pretty dense fog parked along the waters edge. So, that's making it difficult to see what's happening in the lineup, but I can tell you that we're looking at more minimal energy along this stretch of sand. The conditions are fairly clean early on, with a little texture on it at some spots. We've got the continued mix of minor swell activity out there. There's some southwest swell and a little bit of the northwest energy. That recipe is offering this neck of the woods with some dumpy little lines, with maybe a few workable ones on the small wave gear. Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to knee high, with the standout breaks seeing a few thigh high plus waves. Taking a look at the tides...at 5:30 this morning it drained out to a negative 0.5 low which isn't helping things due to the lack of swell. Many spots are starting off pretty inconsistent. Your best bet...once that tide fills-in a bit. It eventually climbs up to a 3.4 high at 12:04 this afternoon. If you're going to get wet, well that water temperature is still feeling pretty chilly, so get out at least a 3/2 full-suit or that 4/3 and maybe the booties, with it hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. Good luck out there!
