Good Tuesday morning surfers I'm Surf Junkie Jeff, with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, unfortunately it looks like mother nature isn't offering this stretch of sand much at all. So once again...I suggest doing a little driving down south where you'll find plenty of playful size waves.
The conditions are super clean and glassy early on, with a very minimal combination of energy. We're seeing some lingering northwest swell and some minor southerly energy. That recipe is offering some really weak dumpy lines, with a few rideable ones, with a log or an SUP.
Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to shin high, with the top spots not seeing much more than that. Taking a look at those tides.

At 6:59 this morning the tide climbs up to a 4.6 high which won't help out either due to the lack of swell mid-morning. So I suggest waiting for that tide to drop a bit before paddling out. It eventually drains out to a 0.0 low at 1:41 this afternoon.
If you're going to get wet, do yourself a favor and throw on at least a 3/2 full-suit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!

FYI: County Health Officials urge surfers and swimmers to stay out of the ocean for at least 72 hours after a rain due to urban runoff, especially near river mouths, storm drains and harbor entrances.
