Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, unfortunately this storm isn't bringing any surf to this neck of the woods. Yep, it's looking really small and weak out there!
The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with some spots seeing some texture on it. However, don't be surprised if it deteriorates sooner than later. As far as the surf goes...we've got some very minor northwest windswell and not mch south southwest energy to speak of.
That recipe is providing this stretch of sand with some dumpy little lines, with not much to work with. If you're itching to get wet, definitely get out a log or an SUP! Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle high, with some knee high waves coming through at those top combo breaks.

Checking the tides...at 10:21 later this morning it climbs up to a 4.1 high which will have some spots a bit full and soft mid-morning. The tide then drops to a 1.6 low at 3:22 this afternoon.
If you're planning on paddling, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 59 and 61 degrees. Good luck out there.

FYI...County Health Officials urge surfers and swimmers to stay out of the ocean for at least 72 hours after a rain due to the likelihood of increased bacterial levels, especially near river mouths, storm drains and harbor entrances.
