Tuesday Surf Report

Micro surf sticks around.

Good Tuesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, we're looking at more micro surf in this neck of the woods.  So, unless you like the really really small stuff...you'll want to get out of town and head south where there's a bit more size.

The conditions are starting off nice and glassy early on, with a continued minimal dose of energy in the water.  We have mostly minor south southwest swell and very little if any northwest windswell out there.

That recipe is making for some pretty weak little lines, with not a lot to work with.  You might be able to find a few workable corners once that tide fills-in a bit.  Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to knee high, with the standout south facing breaks picking up maybe a few plus sets.

Taking a look at the tides...at 9:42 this morning it climbs up to a 3.9 high and then drops to a 1.9 low at 2:20 this afternoon.  If you're going to grab a session, throw on no more than a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temperature averaging between 59 and 62 degrees.  Good luck out there!
