The deputies rendered aid until Orange County Fire Paramedics arrived and pronounced Temple deceased according to Stichter.
"Investigators from the OCSD Homicide Team and Gang Detail worked with Stanton patrol personnel and investigators to canvass the neighborhood and nearby businesses for surveillance video and to conduct extensive interviews," he said. "During the investigation, it was determined the shooting was preceded by a related shooting near Cerritos Avenue and Yana Drive."
