Video: Bad Dog! Woman Accuses Disneyland's Pluto of Hurting Son with Aggressive Hug
A woman says her son, 8, had to be hospitalized after an overly aggressive hug from the theme park's costumed character.

Pluto just doesn’t know his own strength, alleges a mother who says her son, 8, was severely injured by an overly aggressive hug from the costumed character at Disneyland.
Laurie Ramirez, of Rancho Cucamonga, told KTLA News that her son was “tossed around like a rag doll” by the actor playing Pluto during a recent trip to Disneyland.
As a result, her son had to be hospitalized with neck and back injuries, she told TV news.

According to Ramirez, a Disneyland representative showed up at the hospital, offered to pay for the boy’s treatment and assured her the actor was disciplined for the hard hug.
However, a Disneyland spokeswoman would not confirm the account to Patch.

Instead, the theme park issued a written statement, noting, “We are in contact with the family and are in the process of gathering the facts.”
