Wednesday Surf Report

Crummy conditions, with minimal surf.

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report.  Well, it's looking like a good day to make the boss happy and get to work on time and probably shine it altogether.

Yep, there's hardly any surf and the conditions are starting off pretty lousy! We're already seeing some texture or bump on the surface, with just a very minimal amount of energy in the water.  We've got some northwest wind and groundswell and barely any south southwest energy to speak of. That recipe is offering this stretch of sand with some weak, crumbly and bumpy little lines, with not much to work with.

Most Seal Beach spots are running about ankle to shin high, with the focal points pulling some knee high waves. Checking the tides...at 5:50 this morning it climbed up to a 4.6 high which will have some spots pretty full and slow early on.  The tide then drains out to a 0.0 low at 12:39 this afternoon.

If you're really desperate to get wet, throw on that 4/3 full-suit and possibly the booties, with the water temp dropping and averaging between 55 and 57 degrees.  Good luck out there!
