Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Los Alamitos-Seal Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's definitely time for a jumpstart in this neck of the woods. Yep, we're seeing more minimal energy, so you'll want to ride a log or an SUP if you're paddling along this stretch of sand.
The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with a super small mixture of energy. We're seeing some tiny lingering northwest windswell and some south southwest groundswell in the water. That recipe is making for some weak little dribblers, with not a lot to work with. Most Seal Beach spots are pulling ankle high waves, with the focal points seeing some knee high sets.
Meanwhile, farther south in the Huntington area...you'll still find some playful size waves coming through! Check the tides...at 10:55 later this morning it drops to a 0.4 low which will have most spots needing water and inconsistent mid to late morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.5 high at 5:49 this evening.

If you're in need of a salt water bath, throw on at least a 3/2 full-suit, with the water temperature averaging between 57 and 59 degrees. Good luck out there!
