Winter Wonderland Coming Friday To Rossmoor

Snow, sledding, choirs, reindeer, 3-D lights tours and Santa! Bundle up, and have a great time with the family. And it's free!

ROSSMOOR, CA – A true winter wonderland comes Friday to Rossmoor with snow, three sledding hills, a snowman, live reindeer, a petting zoo, live entertainment, Santa and more!

The free, third Annual Rossmoor Winter Festival and 60th Anniversary Celebration, sponsored by the Rossmoor Community Services District and the Rossmoor Homeowners Association, begins at 6 p.m. Dec. 8 and runs until 10 p.m. at Rush Park, 3001 Blume Drive in Rossmoor.

Impersonator Gary Anderson will light up the stage as "Elvis, Uh-Huh! Uh-Huh!" followed with performances by the Los Alamitos Unified School District’s Hopkinson, Lee, Oak and McAuliffe school choirs.

Also on tap: the OC Song and Dance Company with additional entertainment and a live band; Elsa and Ana snow princesses; Holiday Lights Trolley Ride Tour of Rossmoor with 3-D glasses; arts and crafts; food trucks; and holiday movie “The Santa Clause” in the auditorium.

Capture family photos with Santa Claus in his grand Santa chair, and don’t be surprised to see Mr. Grinch step straight out of a Dr. Seuss storybook and into Santa’s sleigh.

For grown-ups: All those 21 years and older are invited to visit the beer and wine garden, sponsored by the Seal Beach Lions Club.
