Woman Rushed To Hospital In Seal Beach, PCH Closures Reported

SEAL BEACH, CA — A Friday midday collision saw a woman struck by a vehicle at a Pacific Coast Highway intersection according to Orange County Fire Authority Captain Larry Kurtz.

"The pedestrian, who appeared to be a middle-aged woman, was struck at Pacific Coast Highway and 12th Street about 11 a.m.," Kurtz said.

Paramedics reported she was in "full arrest" as they rushed her to a hospital, he said.

A traffic advisory for Pacific Coast Highway and 12th Street in Seal Beach remains in effect as of 12:30 p.m.

"Expect delays and use an alternate route," Seal Beach Police Department said in release. Seal Beach police were investigating the collision.
