Your Estate Plan--What is your Family Protection Score? Learn More-- You will want to attend this workshop.

HOW WELL ARE YOU PREPARED FOR LIFE'S EVENTUALITIES?

What is your Family Protection Score? Instructions: Please score yourself by scoring one point (1) for anything you have prepared or know and understand and a zero (0) for anything you have not prepared or don’t know or understand. 

  1. Do you have a Will? 
  2. Do you have a Family Living Trust? 
  3. Do you have a system f
  4. or harnessing all your important documents (Wills, Trust, birth certificates, investments, passwords)? 
  5. Who is in charge of your affairs if you and your spouse become incapacitated? 
  6. If your spouse is the beneficiary on your pension or life insurance, what happens if she is not alive when you pass away? 
  7. If you have put your children on your accounts or investments, what happens if they get a law suit against them or if they go through a divorce? What does your incapacitation plan consist of? 
  8. Do you know what probate is and how much it costs? 
  9. If you have an accident or become ill during a trip, can your family access your medical records from back home? 
  10. When will you need a will or a Family Living Trust? 
Scoring: A Score of 0 indicated you must begin preparing for your family’s protection. A Score of 1-5 indicates you have begun to prepare and have taken some steps but most likely additional steps are required. A Score of 6-9 indicates you are better prepared than most and may only need minor adjustments to your planning. A Score of 10 indicates you have powers beyond that of the normal mortal.
