18-Year-Old Area Man Arrested On Child Porn Charges
A warrant was served this morning at his home on West Middlefield Road in Mountain View, police said. [Breaking]

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA – An 18-year-old Mountain View resident was arrested this morning on suspicion of possession and distribution of child pornography, according to law enforcement.
Mountain View detectives served a search warrant at the home of Josh Chispa on the 500 block of West Middlefield Road after the Cyber Crime Unit got a tip related to a child-pornography investigation, the Mountain View Police Department said today.
During the home search, detectives found several devices on which detectives discovered hundreds of files that depicted lewd and lascivious acts with children under 12, the department said.

Chispa was arrested on alleged charges of possession of child pornography and distribution of child pornography, and was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail, police said.
“This arrest came from many hours of diligent work by detectives following up on a tip. These types of crimes are always extremely concerning, and anyone who has any additional information should contact us,” said acting Lt. Tim Dahl.
