Altos Youth Commission Now Accepting Applications

Los Altos residents currently in grades six to eleven are encouraged to apply for appointment to the City's Youth Commission

The City Council invites Los Altos residents currently in grades six to eleven to apply for appointment to the City's Youth Commission. The Youth Commission advises the City Council on matters relating to youth interests and youth concerns. Members are appointed to two-year terms and there are currently six positions open for appointment with four incumbents eligible for reappointment.

Serving on a Commission is a fantastic way to give-back to the community and youth are encouraged to take advantage of this unique opportunity to provide a voice for their peers.

Applicants must be residents of the City of Los Altos to be considered for an appointment.

Applications are due by Friday, May 13, 2016.
Interviews are tentatively scheduled to take place on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

Applications can be picked-up at Los Altos City Hall, downloaded as a PDF, or submitted online. Submit completed applications to the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall.
