Bay Area Hospital Seeks Public's Help To ID Critically Injured Patient

A man found critically injured in San Francisco’s Duboce Triangle neighborhood on Sunday morning has not been identified and San Francisco General Hospital officials are asking for help in figuring out who he is, hospital officials said today.

The man was found on the ground near Duboce Avenue and Church Street at about 7:30 a.m. Sunday and was taken to the hospital. It was not immediately clear how he was injured or whether he lives in the neighborhood, San Francisco General Hospital spokeswoman Rachel Kagan said.

He is described as a white man in his 20s or 30s, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 146 pounds. His hair is dyed blonde and he has green eyes. He has no tattoos, hospital officials said.

The man was wearing pants and shoes when he arrived at the hospital but it’s not clear if he was shirtless or if paramedics removed his shirt, Kagan said.

He was carrying no wallet, ID or anything else with him.

The hospital has exhausted all of its usual channels for identifying a patient and is asking the public for help in finding his family.
