Their repertoire blends bluegrass with grooves from Country&nbsp;and Western Swing, a nod to Dawg Music, and even the occasional&nbsp;contemporary pop tune reimagined in unique style. They also perform a&nbsp;growing catalog of original music, ranging from traditional bluegrass to&nbsp;broader Americana and Folk.&nbsp;

The Mid-Peninsula Widow and Widowers Association (<a href="https://www.mpwwa1.org" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.mpwwa1.org</a>)&nbsp;is a 501(c)(3)&nbsp;non-profit, non-sectarian organization whose membership is comprised exclusively of widows and widowers.&nbsp;The group organizes activities for its members so they can stay engaged with others doing fun, social activities after the passing of their spouse. Group activities include: meals at local restaurants; games including Bocce Ball, Bowling, Card Games; weekly business meetings in Los Altos often followed by a speaker and entertainment; picnic and more.
The group has General Meetings on the first&nbsp;Tuesday of every month from 1:30 pm-3:00 pm. and the following Tuesday&nbsp;nights from 7:30--9:00 pm.&nbsp; Visitors are welcome to join us, at no charge, and should arrive 30 minutes before the meeting starts.&nbsp;

Like a lost explorer James Ong ventures into the great unknown without a map, with only his intuition and experience to guide him. What he seeks is to create thought-provoking, memorable experiences through his art and design.&nbsp;
Painting is James’s meditation. His paintings depict imaginary places, things, or memories. He is drawn towards Eastern thinking and aesthetics, especially Zen Buddhism and Japanese art and design where his imagination can wander and play without constraint.&nbsp;
As an ex-Engineer, James attended art school focusing on toy design. He is a self-taught painter, learning through books, videos, and experimentation.&nbsp;
When not making art, James likes to read and think deep thoughts about art, design, and life.&nbsp;

My name is Clint Blakely and I’m a product of Mountain View High School's performing arts departments, where I fell in love with music singing with the Madrigals. I hold a BA in Jazz Voice from USC's Thornton School of Music. I've played &amp; sung music around the world – Los Angeles bars &amp; clubs, Amsterdam concert halls, Rio de Janeiro churches... I love teaching lessons over Zoom! For the past 5 years, I’ve taught students all over the world whose ages range from 4 years old to 60+. My students have a wide variety of skill levels, from complete beginners to 10+ years of prior study. In my lessons, I combine technical instruction and creative exercises within a fun, encouraging atmosphere.
