Give your kids an opportunity to learn about our great pollinators, the bees. You will get to see a real beehive!

Big Buzz About Bees

Big Buzz about Bees is an engaging experience that introduces children to the world of bees. Everyone gets a chance to see and touch all the parts of a working beehive as well as beekeeping tools. We’ll explore the many jobs that bees do inside and out of the hive and even take a peek inside of a real beehive (bees are completely contained safely behind plexiglass). Parents required to attend. Session 1: 4/9

Time: 10:00 am – 10:45 am

Time: 3:30 pm – 4:15 pm

Resident Fee: $20 for first child, $10 for each additional
Non-Resident Fee: $25 for first child, $15 for each additional

Kendal Sager has been a backyard beekeeper since 2011. Kendal keeps a small number of beehives in her hometown of Los Altos, where she was born and raised. She has a passion for teaching and loves sharing her experience through educational talks and events.
