The LEAD Program (Leadership Education ADvancement) was developed by the Los Altos Community Foundation to introduce class participants to the multiple entities in Los Altos and Los Altos Hills that make up our City/Town community.
Leaders from local government, education, social service, health, arts, and community service organizations discuss their missions, programs, and and interact in candid conversations on their challenges and obstacles over a five month period January to May. Since 1966, more than 300 people have completed the course.
The kick-off workshop is on Saturday, January 15 from 9 am to noon. Subsequent meetings are on Wednesdays from 7 pm to 9 pm. The course fee is $125 which includes several publications, a lunch and dinner and a one year membership in the Foundation. Registration forms can be at www.losaltoscf.org/LEAD.
