Los Altos Hills Ohlone Half-Day Summer Camp

Ohlone Camp

This unique, active outdoor half-day camp experience teaches children about Ohlone culture as they learn about the history of the land, wildlife and their local environment here in Los Altos Hills. Camp activities include climbing, hiking, Ohlone running and throwing games, digging for pigment rocks, picking grasses for art projects and learning to play using objects and tools founds in nature. Woven through all the activities is the Ohlone perspective: how they lived on the land, what they ate and what they thought of the wildlife around them.

Location: Byrne Preserve

Ages: 6 – 12

Fees: $150 Residents

$164 Non-Residents

CIT – Counselor in Training

Training and Orientation will be setup directly with CITs and Ellen prior to the start of camp!
