Loyola Drive Fire In Los Altos Starts With Burning Mattress
Officials estimated the home suffered $100,000 in damage.

A one-alarm fire at a home in Los Altos Sunday afternoon caused damage but no injuries, according to the Santa Clara County Fire Department.
Fire crews responded to a report of a mattress on fire at 10340 W. Loyola Dr. at 1:39 p.m., said Battalion Chief Mike Krisman.
The fire extended from a bedroom and into the hallway but Krisman said firefighters were able to get the blaze under control within 20 minutes.

Two adults and two children were evacuated from the home and there were no injuries, Krisman said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and Krisman said it looked unintentional.
