Pair Arrested, Suspected Of Car Break-Ins, Auto Theft in Los Altos
The incidents occurred Tuesday.

The Los Altos Police Department report that two men from San Jose were arrested Tuesday in connection with two car break-ins and a stolen vehicle in Los Altos.
Police were called at 8:34 a.m. to the 1400 block of Ben Roe Drive for a report of two vehicular burglaries involving miscellaneous stolen items.
Officers later responded to a resident whose vehicle was stolen from a driveway on Marinovich Way, police said.

The Santa Clara County Auto Theft Task Force later notified Los Altos PD that the stolen vehicle was found in San Jose, occupied by Jose Valdez and Jonathan Torres, police said.
Both suspects had outstanding warrants, and property located in the vehicle linked the duo to the car break-ins, police said.

Valdez and Torres were arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
The Los Altos Police Department reminds residents to always lock their vehicles and never leave personal items in view.
