• SVCE and the city of Los Altos offer electrification rebates (losaltosonline.com) — Los Altos residents can now tap into city-funded electrification rebates of up to $1,000, stacked with additional Silicon Valley Clean Energy incentives worth up to $3,000. The program, backed by a $75,000 city grant, aims to help homeowners replace gas appliances with cleaner, more efficient electric options, cutting local pollution and potentially lowering energy bills.
   

• Los Altos staff breaks down impacts of Measure D (losaltosonline.com) — Los Altos city staff recently outlined how Measure D could affect the city's state-required Housing Element, including potential loss of compliance and pressure to find new housing sites if downtown parking plazas are removed from plans. Residents were warned that passage could trigger amendments, possible litigation, and zoning changes such as added sites, upzoning, and taller buildings in areas like downtown and El Camino Real.
