The LosAltos Police log for Jan 15 include Identity theft, and a petty theft, are among the incidents on Tuesday. Plus, a reckless driver was actually found and cited.

911 Hang-up

  • 10:06 a.m., 2570 El Camino Real, MV; 911 abandoned call, unsubscribed phone, unable to call back           
  • 11:32 a.m., 1200 block of Portland Ave., 911 hang-up, Officers responded and made contact, determined accidental
  • 12:44 p.m., 2570 El Camino Real, M.V.  911 hang-up, on call back it was determined it was accidental.
  • 1:50 p.m., 200 block of 2nd St.; 911 open line, no voice contact, unsubscribed phone, unable to call back

  • 3:22 p.m., W. El Camino Real and Grant Road, traffic collision, no injuries           

Theft

  • 3:00 p.m., 00 block of Gordon Way; outside agency assist, report taken for identity theft
  • 4:19 p.m., walk-in, 100 block of Fremont Ave., petty theft from a vehicle, report taken

Gas Leaf Blower

  • 3:59 p.m., 400 block of Tyndall St.; report of gas-powered leaf blower, officer responded and was unable to locate

Suspicious Person

  • 9:52 p.m. 1900 block of Kay Dr., report of suspicious person, officer checked the area and was unable to locate
  • 10:04 p.m. 300 block of Distel Cir., suspicious subject, subject contacted, warning given,
  • 12:41 a.m., 911, 5000 El Camino Real; suspicious person, suspect contacted, no crime, warning given

Reckless Driver

  • 2:47 a.m., 1/16,  W. El Camino Real and Grant Road, M.V.; Reckless driver, driver cited to appear. Report taken.
