Rainy Day Reminder: Drivers Urged To Slow Down During Wet Weather, Slick Roads
BREAKING: One Bay Area CHP office responded to 34 collisions Monday morning.

NORTH BAY, CA – California Highway Patrol officials are urging drivers to watch their speed during the Bay Area's rainy season because driving too fast for the conditions can lead to a crash or collision.
Between 6 a.m. and noon Monday, CHP officers in the Santa Rosa Area responded to 34 collisions, most of which occurred because drivers were driving too fast for the conditions.
All of the people in the collisions suffered either no injuries or minor injuries, according to the CHP.

But at about 11:10 a.m. officers responded to a report of an overturned big-rig on River and Slusser roads. The driver was driving too fast for the conditions, a preliminary investigation by the CHP showed.
The driver was unhurt but the truck spilled about 10 yards of gravel and traffic was affected.
