Single-Car Accident Reported on I-280 Saturday Morning

A single-vehicle accident is blocking two lanes on southbound Interstate Highway 280 in Los Altos this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident was first reported at 5:33 a.m. near the Foothill Expressway on ramp, CHP officials said.

A sideways abandoned vehicle was reportedly facing sideways and blocking two left-hand lanes at 5:35 a.m., while debris is also strewn across the roadway, according to the CHP.

No estimate for when the roadway will reopen was available.

No injuries have been reported.
