Suspected Trespasser At San Jose Airport Field Arrested
An electrician working on the airfield's lights last week at 1 a.m. spotted the man, police said.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – A man was arrested for allegedly trespassing on an airfield at Mineta San Jose International Airport in San Jose last week, an airport spokeswoman said.
An electrician working on the airfield's lights around 1 a.m. Thursday saw the man on the property and called police, airport spokeswoman Vicki Day said.
Officers quickly apprehended the suspect, but it's not clear how he accessed the airfield as there was nothing out of the ordinary around the airport's perimeter, she said.

"These things do happen all across the country," Day said.
The airport has procedures in place to address trespassers that were followed in Thursday's incident, according to Day.
