Water Main Break In Los Altos: Avoid Rosita Avenue This Morning
Eight to 10 homes without water. [Breaking]

LOS ALTOS, CA – About eight to 10 homes in Los Altos will be without water Monday morning as crews work to repair a water main break in the city, police said.
The break was first reported Sunday at 7:11 p.m. at Rosita Avenue and Springer Road.
Utility crews with California Water Service have shut off the water but repairs could not start until a PG&E crew marked the area so digging could begin, Los Altos police Agent Mark Thomsen said.

No homes have been flooded and no one has been evacuated, according to Thomsen.
Eighty to 90 percent of the water was flowing into nearby Hale Creek Sunday night, so it was not affecting the homes. The rest of the water was flowing down Springer Road, Thomsen said.
