Worker Breaks Leg At Los Altos House Construction Site
Santa Clara County Fire Department staged a technical rescue.

Rescue crews with the Santa Clara County Fire Department staged a technical rescue at a construction site in Los Altos where a worker broke his leg this afternoon, according to police and firefighters.
The incident was reported around 3 p.m. in the 1000 block of Ray Avenue after a construction worker fell roughly 10 feet, injuring his leg.
“The house was being built and one of the construction workers fell into what’s going to be a basement and broke his leg,” police Sgt. Brian Jeffrey said. The technical rescue may have been necessary due to problems with the stairway, Jeffrey said.
