10 Los Gatos High Students Earn High Honors: Report
The LGHS Juniors are among 16,000 students who were named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists.

LOS GATOS, CA — Ten Los Gatos High School students are in elite company.
They are among 16,000 high school juniors who were named National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Maciej Buszko, Adora Chen, Caroline Crowe, Ryan Gabel, Cole Giusto, Nicole Krockenberger, Alexa Kupor, Esther Sun, Adrina Tang and Anjali Vaidya are in the running for for 7,600 scholarships worth over $30 million, the report said.

Since its inception in 1955 the National Merit Scholarship Corporation has recognized the achievements of 3.3 million students and provided 449,000 scholarships worth over $1.8 billion, according to its website.
