1940 Ming Quong: A Rescue Home for Prostitutes
Los Gatos facility was also operated as an orphanage and boarding school.

The former home of Richard Spreckles, which, in 1935, was opened as Ming Quong, Radiant Light, a facility for young girls rescued from prostitution in San Francisco's Chinatown. Operated first as an orphanage, then as a boarding school, now it's an organization helping children in crisis located in Campbell.
