3 Santa Clara County Deputies Test Positive For Coronavirus
One of the deputies has been hospitalized and is in stable condition.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — Three Santa Clara Sheriff’s deputies have tested positive for the new coronavirus including one who has been hospitalized, officials said Monday.
The deputy is in stable condition at a local hospital, Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office confirmed. The two others are self-quarantining at home.
“We are actively monitoring the situation by working closely with the Santa Clara County Public Health Department to mitigate further exposure,” department officials said in a statement.

One deputy had been assigned to a patrol division and two others to the Custody Bureau.
