Accessory Dwelling Units At Town Council Los Gatos

On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the Town Council will consider amendments to the Town Code to align with new State law regarding accessory dwelling units.

On Wednesday, February 26, 2020, the Planning Commission made a recommendation to the Town Council on amendments to Chapter 29 (Zoning Regulations) of the Town Code to align with new State law regarding accessory dwelling units. The amendments include substantive changes related to the minimum number, size, and location of accessory dwelling units allowed on a lot with a primary dwelling. On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the Town Council will consider the recommendation on the amendments.

The Town seeks public input on the proposed amendments.

The community is welcome to submit written comments to Sally Zarnowitz at szarnowitz@losgatosca.gov. Written comments received before 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 17, 2020, will be forwarded to the Town Council. The public is encouraged to attend the March 17, 2020 Town Council meeting at 7:00 p.m.
