• LGSUHSD joins Canvas breach lawsuit, food co-op (losgatan.com) — Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District has voted to join a lawsuit over the recent Canvas data breach, aiming to shift potential liability and seek damages after student information was exposed. The board also approved joining a regional food purchasing co-op to improve pricing, certified that all students have sufficient instructional materials, and celebrated staff and student achievements for the new school year.
   

• U.S. National Junior Teamer Violet Rutter Lends 2028 Verbal to Wisconsin (swimmingworldmagazine.com) — Los Gatos swimmer Violet Rutter, a U.S. National Junior Team member, has verbally committed to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Wisconsin in 2028. Currently training with Santa Clara Swim Club and competing for Archbishop Mitty, she brings top state finishes and strong distance freestyle times that would already score at Big Ten level.
