Crews Battle Bailey Fire Off Highway 101
The 100-acre blaze began Wednesday afternoon in Santa Clara County. [Breaking]

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – A brush fire, dubbed the Bailey Fire, burned 100 acres in unincorporated Santa Clara County near San Jose Wednesday afternoon, a Cal Fire spokesman said.
The fire on the east side of U.S. Highway 101 at Bailey Avenue was 75 percent contained as of about 11 p.m.
It started just before 3:30 p.m.
About 100 firefighters were working to extinguish the blaze Wednesday evening. They hope to have the fire fully contained Thursday.
