Breaking: The blaze northeast of Morgan Hill grew in acreage overnight, but containment also improved.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA -- Evacuation orders issued Monday for residents near the Felipe Fire southeast of San Jose have since been lifted and containment lines have improved, according to a Cal Fire spokeswoman.
The brush fire reported about 4 p.m. Monday, 8 miles northeast of Morgan Hill, near Metcalf and San Felipe roads, has since burned a total of 70 acres but was 80 percent contained early Tuesday morning, Cal Fire Spokeswoman Pam Temmermand said.
Officials had ordered evacuations Monday afternoon for those within a one-mile perimeter around Metcalf and San Felipe roads, but Temmermand said those evacuations were no longer in effect.
