Keep our Waterways Clean and Healthy

Prevent stormwater pollution!

In the West Valley, storm drains flow directly to our local creeks and onto the San Francisco Bay without any treatment. When it rains, any pollutants such as litter and debris, that accumulate on streets, in parking lots, and on other impervious surfaces, can get carried by stormwater runoff into storm drains and onto our waterways.

Preventing stormwater pollution will help to protect our local ecosystem and the plant and animal life that it supports. There any many things that you can do to help prevent stormwater pollution! Visit www.cleancreeks.org for more information.
