New Committees
If one of your New Year resolutions was to get more involved with your community, NUMU has a variety of new committees looking for members. Committees are a great way to get involved and share your ideas, thoughts or connections. Committee members are a vibrant source for contributions to our programming, lectures, events and exhibitions.

History Committee monthly (day TBD)
The History Committee works on macro concepts related to our history based exhibitions, programing, collections and conservation. Subcommittees will concern themselves with specifics of these categories. At this unique time in NUMU’s history, the committee will also help with the planning and preparation of opening of the lower floor in September.

2015 Historic Homes & Gardens Tour Committee as needed
This committee helps with planning and executing the Historic Homes & Gardens Tour, including scouting potential homes and gardens. The tour this year will be in April.

Art Committee first Tuesday of each month, 11 am
The Art Committee works on macro concepts related to our art based exhibitions, programming, collections and conservation. Subcommittees will concern themselves with specifics of these categories.

Plans, executes and obtains lecturers for the NUMU’s art:inFOCUS Lecture Series.

Grand Opening Committee monthly
This committee will help with planning, executing and sponsor prospecting for our Grand Opening, which will take place in May of this year.

Development Committee first Monday of the month, 5 pm
The Development Committee is concerned with cultivating relationships within the community, finding ways to extend outreach, fundraising, finding community partners, sponsors and donors.
