Man Arrested After Pursuit Involving Stolen Vehicle In Los Gatos
Reckless driving, hit-and-run and meth were involved.

A man was arrested last week after he allegedly led officers on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle, police said.
Los Gatos/Monte Sereno officers at 11:58 a.m. Friday observed a gold Chrysler sedan speeding on Blossom Hill Road at Harwood Road, police said. Responding officers located the vehicle abandoned in the driveway of a residence in the 100 block of Lu Ray Drive, police said.
Police said the suspect, later identified as Robert Zapien, 35, of San Jose, crashed the vehicle into a retaining wall on the property and fled to the backyard of the residence. Officers determined the vehicle was reported stolen out of San Jose and it was involved in a high-speed pursuit the day before with Morgan Hill police.
