Person Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash Involving News Van Was Pedestrian
BREAKING: The victim was declared dead at scene. Two others injured. Alcohol possible factor in collision, officials said.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA – A pedestrian was killed in a three-vehicle collision involving a news van in San Jose Thursday evening, according to firefighters and police.
The crash was reported at Santa Clara and Fourth streets at 4:34 p.m. and emergency crews were on scene roughly three minutes later.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene and two victims were transported to hospitals with injuries not considered life-threatening.

A man who was driving one of the vehicles has been detained, and investigators say alcohol may be a factor in the collision.
