Safeway 'Fire' Was Actually Steam From Air Conditioning Unit
Fire officials revised the report on the Sunday night incident.

Officials with the San Jose Fire Department have revised a report of a fire late Sunday at a Safeway in Los Gatos, a dispatcher said this morning.
Officials now say steam was rising from an air conditioning unit at the Safeway in the 15000 block of Union Avenue. The official said the initial report of a fire was false.
The fire department received the first call about the incident at 11:09 p.m. and shortly after midnight firefighters had left the scene, a dispatcher said.
