Santa Clara County Reports 104 New Coronavirus Cases, 1 Death
There were 78 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Santa Clara County as of Monday, of which 35 were being treated in intensive care units.
SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — The Santa Clara County Public Health Department reported 104 additional coronavirus cases Monday.
The latest announcement covers a two-day period going back to Saturday and brings the countywide COVID-19 case count to 4,265.

The county reported one new coronavirus-related fatality, bringing it's COVID-19 death toll to 156.

Elsewhere around the Bay Area and beyond, Contra Costa County will delay reopening various businesses like bars, gyms, indoor museums, hotels and activities like indoor dining that were scheduled to resume operating Saturday due to the recent flare-up of new COVID-19 coronavirus cases, county officials said Monday.

There were 215,581 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 5,935 coronavirus-related deaths in California as of Monday afternoon according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
The United States had 2,564,163 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 125,928 coronavirus-related fatalities as of Monday afternoon.
