MILPITAS, CA — Firefighters battling the blaze amid high temperatures in the South Bay appear to have contained the blaze after encountering a setback, NBC Bay Area reports.

According to the report, a water main broke, stymying the firefighting efforts, and as the blaze reignited, more thick black smoke was sent into the skies before 3 p.m.

The blaze occurred at a recycling facility on Dixon Landing Road in Milpitas in an area that borders San Jose and Fremont, the report said, noting that firefighters from all three cities were battling the blaze.
