Taste Of Champions: Second Harvest Food Bank Fundraiser Set At Levi's
It will be an afternoon of gourmet food, auctions and sports super stars!

Taste of Champions -- a benefit fundraiser for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties -- will be held March 1 from 2 to 5 p.m. in the Yahoo! Fantasy Football Lounge at levi’s Stadium.
As a ticket-holding guest, you can mingle with NFL, NHL, MLB and Olympic champions, enjoy dishes developed by Levi’s Stadium Chef Santana Diaz, and listen to 11-time Grammy winner Tony Lindsay, lead singer of Santana.
Television personalities Vern Glenn and Thuy Vu will emcee the event, which includes live and silent auctions, including two tickets to Super Bowl 50 at Levi Stadium on February 7, 2016, and a trip for two to a “Dancing with the Stars” taping.

Sports stars invited so far include 49er greats Joe Montana, Jesse Sapolu, Keena Turner, and Eric Wright. Former Oakland A’s pitcher Vida Blue will also be on hand, as well as Olympic gold medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and former professional hockey player Brett Michael Hedican, a two-time Olympian.

Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, and Second Harvest Food Bank are providing food to 438,000 people every month, and depend on the support of the community to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious food, organizers said.
