The Irish Step Dancers of Los Gatos
Town children learn the traditional dance of Ireland at the Los Gatos Saratoga Recreation Center.
features many activities and programs, including Irish dance for children.
In this class, children learn traditional Irish dances and also participate in competitions around the area. Patricia Kennelly, world-renowned Irish dance teacher, choreographer and musician, has passed on her love for this art form at the center for many years. She recently took her students to San Francisco and Sacramento for the Irish dance competition, where many placed high.
Once a year, her students also have the chance to participate at a national competition in Ireland.
