Zoom Deploys Fix Amid Widespread Outage
The outage affected Zoom users in the United States and England.
SAN JOSE, CA – Videoconferencing behemoth Zoom is deploying a fix after widespread outages were reported in the United States and England, The Verge reports.
The South Bay company has issued updates throughout the morning. As of 9:37 a.m. PDT Zoom said it had “resolved the issue causing users to be unable to start and join Zoom Meetings and Webinars.”
“Users are now also able to sign up for paid accounts, upgrade, and manage their service on the Zoom website. We are currently monitoring to ensure that these services are operational.”

Zoom first confirmed the outage at 5:51 a.m. PDT post in which it acknowledged receiving “reports of users being unable to visit the Zoom website (zoom.us) and unable to start and join Zoom Meetings and Webinars.”
