• PG&E cuts power to nearly 2,000 in Butte, Glenn, Tehama counties (actionnewsnow.com) — Power has been shut off to hundreds of PG&E customers in Butte County, including areas along Highway 70 east of Magalia, because of high winds and fire danger. Crews expect to restore electricity around 4 p.m. after inspecting lines for safety. Nearby Glenn and Tehama counties are also affected, with separate restoration timelines and a resource center open in Elk Creek.
