This past weekend, the varsity cheerleading team won in its division (small varsity, non-tumbling) at the UCA West Coast Championship cheerleading competition. The event took place at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk. The team is coached by Melisa Andino. The members are Yasi Afsharnive, Eden Concoff, Jenny Kotlyar, Paige Schwimer, Kelly Watson, Mia Nunez, Ysidora Bravo, Emily Thiessen, Jade Collins-Parnell, Nicolette Cunningham and Jessica Murray.
