MALIBU, CA – An on-duty motorcycle deputy was injured in a Malibu crash Monday, according to authorities. The crash occurred about 11 a.m. near Pacific Coast Highway and Westward Beach Road, the sheriff's department reported. The deputy, who was responding to a call for service when he crashed his two-wheeler, was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
