Malibu's Red Bulls Win Area Title
The squad moves on to the sectional tournament, which takes place in Bakersfield in February.
The Red Bulls, Malibu AYSO's Boys U-14 league champions, won the area title this past weekend in Thousand Oaks. The team won five games, including four shutouts, in the two-day tournament. The Red Bulls scored 20 goals and allowed just one.
The local squad advances to the sectional tournament, which take place in Bakersfield in February.
The Red Bulls are coached by Damian Andrews. The athletes are Devin Sarantinos, Kelson Flint, Ian Welles, Sy Yeremian, Luca Marinaro, Nick Deeds, Lenny Malmoux, Jaime Le, Nikolas Engheben, Kaden Andrews, Henry Katleman and Randy Lopez.
