The  girls varsity tennis team advanced to the second round of the CIF Southern Section Division 3 tournament Thursday afternoon. The Sharks defeated Adolpho Camarillo 13-5 in the first-round match at . Raven Odian and Rachel Purewal won three sets in doubles, as did Ilana Oleynik and Lauren Louks in singles. The Sharks will compete in the second round against San Luis Obispo on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Pepperdine. If it rains on Saturday, the match will take place on Monday.
