2 Purse Snatching Robbery Suspects Arrested In Manhattan Beach
Two suspects have been charged with robbery and assault with a deadly weapon after a purse snatching robbery that left a woman injured.

MANHATTAN BEACH, CA – Two robbery suspects, Isaiah Igbineweka and Hassan Morris both from Los Angeles, were arrested in Manhattan Beach, police announced Monday. The first suspect was arrested Friday after Manhattan Beach Police Department detectives followed up on information they received from security cameras; the second suspect was arrested Monday. Both suspects have been charged with robbery and assault with a deadly weapon and are in custody at the Manhattan Beach jail awaiting their court date, according to the press release.
On May 10 at approximately 1:15 p.m., a strong arm robbery occurred in the 600 block of 15th Street in Manhattan Beach. One suspect driving a silver BMW dropped off a second suspect near the intersection of Deegan Place and 15th Street, the press release said. The suspect who got out of the BMW ran up behind a female who was walking through the American Martyrs Church parking lot and ripped the victim’s purse from her shoulder, according to police.
The victim fell to the ground and was significantly injured. The suspect ran from the parking lot with the victim’s purse and met up with the suspect driving the BMW, and they both fled the scene, the press release said. The victim was transported to the hospital.
